THE FTL MURAL SCAVENGER HUNT

Hello, and welcome to a mural scavenger hunt!! 26 murals are marked on businesses across Fort Lauderdale and we ask that you take the time to document these temporary artifacts. Most regard painted murals as permanent art, however in areas like Wynwood, murals can last less than 30 days after being painted during Miami Art Week's / Art Basel time when artists travel from all over to paint walls and display in exhibits / fairs.

We are so fortunate here in Fort Lauderdale to have so many local and international artists that have blessed our walls. More important, who knows how long they will stay; they may be repainted, building may get torn down, or they made fade over time. Does anyone remember the famous light blue fully painted bicycles we had all over town at one point. Now just a distant memory, we cannot loose our culture here.  As locals, let's do our part to document the growth of our city, preserving our art, and sharing stories with family and friends.
